It’s been a full month since my trip to Oregon and with how COVID-19 continues to rattle the United States, it has caused delays on trips that I really wanted to go to. No stress though; there has been so much going on that I feel time is passing by quickly and we can just hope that this virus slowly goes away.
Not going to hold my breath on that, but can a man dream?!
Here’s the thing with photography. It is so much more than just taking pictures. Since I’m a beginner, I am trying to at least apply the Pareto Principle, which is… 20% of my activities will account for 80% of my results. I want to fully master the basics and methods of photography / image editing and most importantly, learn to master my camera. I’ve also been chatting with actual photographers and they’ve been extremely helpful with their recommendations and sharing their knowledge with me.
So after a lot of back and forth discussions, I finally decided to pull the trigger on my first prime lens, the Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG.
Had to get my hands on that sexy low f-stop to get that bokeh-liciousness!
(Okay, that came off cheesy but you can tell I’m nailing it with my terminology)
Will definitely take this setup with me in my September trip. 😉
